Born in Thailand, raised between Japan and Singapore, Kantaya New blends candid street photography with conceptual visual storytelling to capture the humor, chaos, and poetry of everyday life.

Her work has been recognized internationally by Fujifilm Moment Street Photo Awards, LensCulture, Photolucida and Sony World Photography Awards.

Through every frame, she invites viewers to smile, reflect, and reimagine what the world can be.

Artist Statement

Through candid street encounters and staged conceptual worlds, I seek to explore the tension between human connection and emotional distance in modern life. My ongoing series, A Modern Day Affair, questions the fragile intimacy between people and their devices, blending staged imagery and documentary emotions.
